2 months

Baby Brox is reaching epic proportions...
2 month stats:
11.77 pounds
23 inches long First smile caught on camera!

This is that very same football suit that swallowed him up for his first ride home from the hospital...as you can see, his little toes have worn out their welcome...:)

First FULL Church outing

We all survived:)
It's amazing to see the growth of this little guy, he's getting those perfect kissing cheeks and chubby rolls...everywhere:) He's smiling more and more and the other day found himself in the mirror~he and his new friend are off to a good start~he coo'd for a good 5 minutes to himself:) This past month he's also upgraded from sleeping in our bed to actually sleeping in his cradle...and now has officially made the jump to the 'big boy' bed...the crib. He was just too heavy for the little cradle! And so far, so good. And here's some amazing news~he's sleeping typically 5-6 hours at the beginning of the night!! Bless him:)
He still loves to cuddle and will always take a nap with mom in the morning...We love this little man.

Blessing Day

September 26th little Brox was blessed and he was the perfect little guy up there in the circle of men....he was literally silent while being held...ok that's a lie, he apparently let some serious gas fly while being held by his fellow men...so much gas that everyone in the circle was flabbergasted that the microphone didn't pick it up and broadcast it throughout the chapel. There was wide spread concern that he maybe even ruined his darling little blessing suit, that was doomed to eek onto some ill-fated hands. Don't worry, all ended well, Brigg gave him a beautiful blessing and everyone sat down unscathed...though my dad was nearly bursting with suppressed laughter.

We are so grateful to have had this beautiful experience and to be blessed with such a beautiful boy.
A million thanks to family and friends, we are grateful for your friendship and love.

10-10-10

Happy 1st birthday to our dear Bridger B. It's his first birthday today. We had Funfetti cupcakes:) Every little boy (including Brigg because of his undying love for Funfetti) Loves Funfetti:) It breaks my heart that he isn't here to eat his cupcake. It breaks my heart that we haven't had a year of 'firsts' with him. But as I think back to that weekend a year ago, I think that it also marked the beginning of many lessons, many still in progress, and many I'm sure we didn't learn adequately but there are many that maybe perhaps wouldn't have been learned at this point in our lives if it weren't for our little Bridger B. He caused us to stretch and grow, I feel like our hearts grew 100 sizes the day that he was born and since his birth it has been filled with countless experiences that will always be dear to us. There isn't a day that we don't wish to hold him and love him, there isn't a day that we don't wish for him to be here with his Mom, Dad, and baby brother Brox, but there also isn't a day when we don't feel the love of that sweet little boy. We look forward to the day when we can hold him again, but until then we will continue to enjoy having him as our Angel Baby.

Though a thank you from a blog hardly suffices, THANK YOU to the countless friends and family and family who are our friends:) who have served us and blessed our lives this past year. Your love and support has meant the world to us and we know that we will never be able to repay the kindness that has been shown even if we lived a hundred lifetimes. You are truly appreciated~ and you know who you are:) Thank you from the bottom of our hearts.
